Fleas
Fleas are small, wingless, blood-sucking insects that act as external parasites. Commonly found on pets such as cats and dogs, as well as rodents and birds, they feed multiple times a day and require blood meals to reproduce. Their flattened bodies allow them to move easily through fur, and they are capable of jumping great distances. Fleas thrive in dark environments and avoid light, making them difficult to spot until infestations grow.
